I seriously have a confession. I love to vacuum. It’s an obsession. Now that I have the BISSELL Powerforce Helix, I am even more obsessed. I love that the dirt cup is seriously HUGE! You won’t have to dump as often as with other vacuum brands. This is great for me when I have little ones running around and I just want to vacuum every day of the week after their little messes. I literally only had to empty the dirt cup once in the last week since I have had the BISSELL Powerforce Helix.

I am also a small woman. Yep, it’s true. Other vacuums are just so bulky but I made due with them because they were supposed to be the best. The BISSELL Powerforce Helix is super lightweight. Pretty sure it weighs less than my one year old. I am also a mom on a pretty tight budget as I know most of you are too. This is the best choice in a vacuum to get the job done in power and value at a price point of $48. That’s it.

Another plus, is that it seriously is so amazing that your husband will want to use it too. My honey normally will clean up around the house with straightening, dusting, taking out the trash, etc. Most of the time the laundry, dishes and vacuuming duties are left to me. Guess who took the first action with the BISSELL Powerforce Helix? He did! I was just a little jealous. Now he uses it more than me.

Coffee Magic With Touch Brewers

If you are like me, you are running on coffee. It doesn’t matter if it is morning or afternoon. Coffee keeps your world going at just the right pace. One cup brewers have taken over the coffee lovers world, and I am right there loving every second of it.

Touch Brewers have made me switch one cup brewers for the time being because the coffee that is made is so hot and smooth that I enjoy every single sip. Most of the time, my coffee ends up too cold by time I get to finish it all, but with the Touch Brewer, it comes out hotter from the start to last even longer than before. As you can see, I am a fan of Dunkin Donuts coffee. I can’t always go out and get that cup of coffee though and so I rely on my K-Cups to take me there. The Touch T214B replicates the cup of coffee that I so desperately love.

You can choose your size and you can also choose your flavor intensity. Even better this Touch Brewer is lightning fast. When I get up with my husband in the morning, all I have to do is touch two buttons. I turn the brewer on and then I select 8 oz because that is what fits in his coffee tumbler. We leave the intensity for the both of us on Medium, but you can change that lower or higher if you wish. Even more awesome is that you can make a whole pot of coffee if you wish!

I also love that despite my Keurig that I have had for years, this brewer has a tank on the back that allows me to make multiple cups of coffee without having to add water every single time.

Coffee is supposed to be easy and with Touch Brewers you get the caffeinated cup of goodness quickly. The setup for this brewer is also quick. All it takes is to run a clean cycle with water a few times through the brewer and it’s ready for you to use. I literally made my first cup of coffee with my Touch T214B Brewer in minutes after running the cycles to set it up.

The Rapid Brew Technology that features Flash Heating and Flavor Grooves is something unlike anything I have ever heard of before. Warm Your Space With a Crane Fireplace Heater

Winter is upon us now and we all have that space that needs just a little extra heating in the house. I received the Crane Fireplace Heater and I immediately fell in love. It is aesthetically beautiful and doesn’t look out of place in your space like some heaters can. The first thing I did was test it in the living room because most mornings that is the chilliest room in the house.

We tend to spend a lot of time in this room in the morning and so I figured that instead of running heat throughout the home, we could use the Crane Fireplace Heater. The space heated quickly and since it is cool to the touch my girls sit in front of it and I don’t have to worry.

I also love that the heater had three different settings. There are low and high settings on the heater but also a no heat setting that just displays the faux flames. My children loved the flames look especially when it was dark and so this setting came in handy quite a few times.

It’s also nice to create a mood in the room if you do not have a fireplace in the home at all.

Even after hours of the Crane Fireplace Heater being on, it really does still remain cool to the touch. With three children in our home, this is so important to us. This is a great supplement heat at night too when it does get chilly in our older style house that can sometimes get drafty. Another great feature that the Crane Fireplace Heater has is that it automatically shuts off if it overheats.

You may be thinking that my electric bill has now gone up from running the heater, but it really hasn’t! This heater packs a warm punch and heats very quickly for being so small. This is such a fun heater and I know that if you are looking for a heater for any space in your house that you will love this one, too!

If you are like me, the idea of getting your home “Spring Clean” can mean that you are about to stress to the max. You start cleaning one area and then you notice that another area needs attention. This happens to you for an entire day that you are trying your best to get your home back in order. At the end of the day, your home looks like you did nothing all day. It’s frustrating right?

Vocalpoint recently shared an article written up that was entitled “30-Day Spring Cleaning Challenge Checklist”. When I saw this in my inbox, I just KNEW that I had to share this with my readers. Spring cleaning can be overwhelming. I have seen many of my friends on social media that have taken part in the 40 Bags In 40 Days Challenge. I didn’t take part because honestly I didn’t think that I had 40 bags worth of clutter around my home. My home was just subjected to kids and everything now being where it is supposed to be all the time. That means that clutter builds as I started to say “I will get to that part of the house tomorrow”.

There is a master list that has all household chores listed there and it looks overwhelming. Trust me! Who knew that there was really this much stuff to clean up around the house? Now the listing out of the 30-Day Spring Cleaning Challenge looks like something that I can manage.
